How do I use Travel mode to browse another city?

Travel mode lets you drop a pin on a map and browse the deck as if you were at that spot; it is included in Ohrny Plus and Platin.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Discovery → Travel mode.
2. Turn on Travel mode.
3. Move the map and drop the pin where you want to browse, or search for a place.
4. Confirm. Your deck now shows people around the pin, using your usual age and distance filters.

To go back to your real location, open Settings → Discovery → Travel mode and turn it off.

When it is useful

• Before a trip, to match with people and plan a meeting for when you arrive.
• On a longer stay, to browse the city you are in rather than your home area.
• Out of curiosity, to see what Ohrny looks like somewhere else.

Good to know

• While Travel mode is on, you appear in the decks of people near the pin, and distances are measured from the pin. That is how they can find you too.
• Your real location is never shown to anyone, in Travel mode or otherwise. Distance is only ever displayed after a mutual reveal, and Plus members can hide it completely.
• Your matches and chats stay exactly as they are when you switch locations. Nothing is lost.
• Travel mode works well together with Intent modes. Join This week before a trip and drop the pin on your destination.
• You can move the pin as often as you like, for example from one city to the next on a longer trip.
• If your Plus subscription ends, Travel mode switches off and your deck returns to your real location.
