How do I block or report someone on Ohrny?
Updated 26 September 2026
Blocking someone is instant and silent, and reporting is anonymous and reviewed by Ohrny's safety team; both take a few taps from a profile or a chat.
Block
- Open the person's profile or your chat with them.
- Tap the three dots in the top corner.
- Tap Block and confirm.
What happens:
- The block takes effect immediately.
- The other person is not told. Nothing shows up on their side.
- You disappear from each other's decks, Likes You tabs and Intent modes, and the chat is closed.
- Any photos revealed in that chat are no longer visible to them.
Report
- Open the person's profile or your chat with them.
- Tap the three dots, then Report.
- Choose what happened.
- Optionally attach the chat so the safety team can see the messages.
- Send.
What happens:
- The report is anonymous. The person is never told who reported them.
- The safety team reviews it and takes action where needed.
- Reporting does not automatically block. If you do not want to hear from the person, block them as well.
Anything urgent or that you would rather explain in your own words can go to safety@ohrny.com.
Pause your account
If you need a break without losing your matches:
- Go to Settings → Account → Pause account.
- Confirm.
Your profile is hidden from everyone, and your matches and chats are kept. Come back whenever you want and unpause in the same place.
Good to know
- Blocking is for you; reporting helps everyone. If someone broke the rules, please do both.
- You can report someone even after they have unmatched you, from your chat history, and even after you have blocked them.
- The Safety Center inside the app, under Settings → Safety, has more advice and quick access to these tools.
- If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
