Why can’t every man join straight away?
Because a dating app only works when there are as many women as men. We let new members in city by city and keep the balance as close to 50/50 as we can. Women get in right away; men may join a short waitlist in their city and are let in as soon as the balance evens out.
What is Ohrny for?
Affairs and hookups, discreetly. People who are married or in a relationship use it to meet someone without anyone finding out; singles use it for a hookup without three weeks of texting. Everyone on Ohrny says what they are here for, so nobody pretends.
How does nobody find out?
Your photos are blurred for everyone until you and a match both tap "I'm ready". You use a handle, never your name. You can hide from your entire contact list, so your partner, friends and colleagues never see you and you never see them. The app can hide as a calculator on your phone, and notifications stay neutral.
Can someone screenshot my photos or chats?
Screen capture is blocked inside chats on iOS and Android; where the system reports an attempt instead of blocking it, you are told. Messages can delete themselves after 24 hours, and you can re-blur your photos for a match at any time.
Is it free?
Free to download for everyone, and free for women permanently. Men pay for Plus or Platin to get unlimited likes, incognito, travel mode and more; that is what funds Ohrny instead of ads.
Are the profiles real?
Every member can verify with a selfie check and gets a badge; you can filter your deck to verified people only. Fake profiles, money requests and harassment are removed by a safety team, and blocking is instant and silent.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. Ohrny is funded by subscriptions. There are no ads, no ad tracking, and no data sold or shared with brokers. Profiles are never indexed by search engines.
