Quietlyhiring.
Twenty-two of us on a single floor in Noord, building a dating app the opposite of loud. Four open roles below — published salary bands, a four-step process, and a long list of things we will not ask you to do.
Senior iOS engineer
Three days in,
at home,
Wednesday quiet.
We're not a remote company, and we're not a five-day-in-office company either. The shape of our week is deliberate. So is the shape of our roadmap, our hiring cadence, and the absence of a Slack channel called #random.
How a typical week looks.
Paper roadmap.
Our six-month plan lives on a single A2 sheet pinned above the kitchen. Every member of the team can read it from across the room. If a feature can't fit on the sheet, we don't build it.
Friday letters.
Every Friday, we each write a short letter to the rest of the team — what we shipped, what's stuck, what we're reading. No standups, no daily updates, no ticket counters.
Wednesdays untouched.
No internal meetings on Wednesday, ever. Customer-facing, sure. But your calendar is yours. Use it for the deep work the rest of the week makes hard.
Six-week cycles.
We work in six-on, two-off cycles, Shape Up–style. The two-week cooldown is for cleanup, learning, and pitching the next cycle. No quarterly OKR rituals, no perpetual sprint.
Thursday dinner.
Every Thursday after work, the team eats together in the office or somewhere nearby. Optional, but most people come. Allergies welcome; small talk discouraged.
Four open roles.
Filed in the order they were opened. Click any row to read the full posting, see who you'll work with, and find the apply link.
You'll own the direction of the whole company — strategy, growth, capital, and culture. You decide what we build, in what order, and to what standard. This is the most visible seat in the building and the one with the most leverage. You build the team, not just the product.
We're bootstrapped, with no investors, and we'd like to stay that way. We don't want a caretaker — we want an operator who can hold a strong opinion loosely, decide with incomplete data, and own the outcome.
- Ten-plus years operating, several of them leading or founding.
- Have built something from zero — revenue, a team, or both.
- Understand product, market, and money in equal measure.
- Communicate plainly, inside the building and out.
- Want to carry weight, not delegate it.
You own how Ohrny is seen — positioning, campaigns, and the single headline. You build reach that doesn't feel bought and a brand people remember. From channel to conversion, it's yours. We do not chase every platform or ship growth hacks we'd be embarrassed by.
We rely on a few good decisions and a quiet kind of taste. You measure what matters and leave the rest.
- Five-plus years in marketing, ideally consumer or platform.
- Can do both strategy and the actual work — idea to reporting.
- Hold an opinion about brand, and can defend it.
- Write well. In English; a second language is a plus.
- Like working independently, measured on outcomes.
You'll own our app end-to-end — the data model, the server contract, the animation, the copy. You decide what we build and how. Performance, structure, and craft matter equally. This is the most-touched code in the app and the most-read by the team.
We build few things carefully rather than many things fast. We do not ship features we can't maintain, and we hold one retrospective two weeks after release.
- Six-plus years shipping apps or platforms.
- At home from the backend to the frontend.
- Have opinions about architecture — and changed at least one this year.
- Care about the details without getting lost in them.
- Want the whole thing, not just a ticket.
You keep the leadership's week clear — calendars, correspondence, travel, prep, and the hundred small things that otherwise slip. You're the person who holds the overview when things get tight.
We're not looking for pure administration; we're looking for someone who thinks ahead and spots what matters before anyone says it out loud.
- Three-plus years in EA, office management, or operations.
- Organised, and calm with many things in the air.
- Communicate confidently in English; Dutch a plus.
- Discreet, dependable, a step ahead.
- Like that no two days look the same.
