A conversation does not need to be an archive. Turn on disappearing messages in a chat and everything you both write is gone 24 hours later, on both phones and on our servers.
You can also delete a single message, for both of you, at any time.

Are deleted messages really gone from your servers?
Yes. Expired messages are deleted from the database, not hidden.
